Sir Isaac Newton's Life
That ever lived, Sir Isaac was one of the greatest scientists and
mathematicians. He was born in England on December 25, 1642. (or January 4th,
1643, New Style.) Sir Isaac was also born the same year Galileo died.
Sir Isaac Newton was born premature and could fit into a quartpot. Isaac Newton was
born after his father's death (His father was also named Isaac), so then His
mother named Hanna left him to his grandparents so that she could go and raise a
second family with Barnabas Smith, a wealthy rector. In 1653 Hanna's second
husband had died, but Sir Isaac was still denied his mother's attention.
Throught Newton's childhood it was anything but happy, and throughout his life
he was always on the edge with emotional troubles. He occasionally had violent
and vengeful attacks against friends and foe alike. In June of 1661 was when Sir
Isaac Newton's life changed for the better. Newton entered a whole new world and
one day he could eventually call his own. This was the year he went to Cambridge
University. While at college he became interested in math, physics, and
astronomy. Sir Isaac Newton recieved both a bachelors and masters degree. When
Isaac was iin college he kept a journal of his ideas. Isaac had new ideas about
motion, in which he called the three laws of motion. Isaac also had some ideas
about gravity, and the diffraction of light, and forces. His ideas were so
amazing that Queen Anne knighted him in 1705. Isaac's accomplishments were the
foundations for modern science that also reolutionized the world. Sir Isaac
Newton lived for 85 years and died in 1727.
